panel-view-transitions
Panel → sub-panel page turn, clipped by a container whose
height animates, using view-transition-group
nesting. The container is content-sized — the
page scrolls, and the bars stay pinned.
- forward — old panel parallaxes left, new panel slides in from the right
- forward — the tapped option morphs into the header, the rest fades where it stands, the page reaches 0, and the container resizes, all in one transition
-
the incoming rows are held back by
--delay-paneland hop--panel-shift, landing as the container finishes resizing - back — old panel slides out right, parent slides back in from the left, then the page smooth-scrolls to its previous offset
- no turn ever changes the scroll offset while it runs — that is what would tilt it diagonally
-
the container has no
max-height: it is as tall as its list, so the document is the scroller - the header sticks to the top and the bottom bar to the bottom of the window, settling on the container's edges once the whole card fits on screen
